What are the times for CSP In The Park? And where is it?

CSP In The Park takes place on the bank holiday weekend 4+5th May in The Dane John Gardens. Music and entertainment is scheduled for 12pm-7pm both days. Line-up and stage times will be available in the programme.


Where do we enter?

The entrance to CSP In The Park is on Watling Street (bus station end of the park).
All other usually entrances will be EXIT ONLY for the entire weekend.


How do I get tickets?  

CSP In The Park is a completely FREE to enter festival with no ticket required! Just turn up at The Dane John Gardens (Watling street entrance)


Can I bring my own Alcohol/Food/Drink?

Food and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted in non-glass containers. Alcohol purchased outside the festival site is not permitted due to licensing restrictions.


Are Children allowed to attend?

Yes, CSP In The Park is totally family and kid friendly. There is a whole area full of kids workshops, magic, comedy, and story-telling.


Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on site. (Except guide dogs)


Can I bring my bike?

No, we ask people not to bring bikes with them. They can be stored near to the bus station or Canterbury East Train Station


Can we bring bbqs/etc?

No, personal fires or BBQ’s are strictly prohibited.

Is there disabled access?

Entry to the park is step-free and we’ve made provisions and brought in dedicated disabled access toilets.

Where should we park?

There are a number of Pay & Display car parks nearby, BUT we suggest using the park and ride services. Details can be found here : https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/parkandride

(bear in mind that the Wincheap Park + Ride is not open on Sundays)


Is it cash only at the bar?

There are card facilities at the bar and at most food stalls. However, due to the varying strength of signal in our beloved Canterbury it is worth bringing plenty of cash with you. The closest cash points will be in Whitefriars shopping centre and by Canterbury East Station.


Are there vegan options available to eat?

We have several food stall offering vegan options!


Are there bag searches in operation?

Due to licensing restrictions and anti-terrorism measures bag searches will be operation.


Is there anything I cannot bring onto the site with me?

The following items are prohibited from the festival site:

  • Any alcohol purchased outside the site

  • Any Glass bottles or containers

  • Illegal substances, legal highs, ‘NOS’ canisters etc.

  • Offensive weapons.


CSP In The Park reserves the right of admission and operates a zero-tolerance policy towards drugs.
